Talking about Drugs with Children and Teens
No parent wants to have this type of talk with their child, but drugs are readily available so it’s a good idea to have the hard talks. Attached is a link to a blog that gives examples of how to talk to your child about drugs and what’s most important to keep in mind as you’re doing it. https://www.positivediscipline.com/articles/communicate-kids-about-drugs

As many of you have heard, COVID numbers are on the rise in Elkhart County. As a result, the Elkhart County Health Department has raised the County to a level “Orange” as of Wednesday, October 14.
Most of this is due to community spread and large gatherings. There are many reports of people who are not masking and/or maintaining social distancing. We as a community need to do our best so we can continue to have fans at Athletic Events (or even be able to have Athletic Events). We do not want to see our kids lose their season. Your help and cooperation is crucial. The masking is an expectation given to us by the state and our local Health Department and we need to all do our part to ensure that our student athletes can continue to compete.
Please make sure to wear your mask at all times for our Sectional. We all want to be there to support our team as they work to earn a Sectional Title. Your masking up will be a great help to all of us!!
